Su’a Cravens believes he understands where Trent Williams is coming from.
More than two years after Cravens last played for the Washington Redskins, the safety wrote in a series of tweets Monday that he is still fighting with the team over payment and benefits that he claims were unfairly withheld.
He also wrote that the Redskins “mishandled injuries and withheld info,” something he claims they have done “countless time(s).”
“Which is why the best tackle in the game refuses to play for them now,” Cravens wrote in one tweet, referring to Williams. “Same reason I left.”

Williams, a seven-time Pro Bowler, has yet to report to Redskins training camp amid reports that he has lost trust in the team’s medical staff, at least in part due to its diagnosis and treatment of a growth on his head earlier this offseason.
