What to watch for as NY Jets start minicamp, including GM search and Le'Veon Bell

This has already been a strange and interesting offseason for the Jets. And it’s about to get a whole lot busier on the football field. The Jets have their three-day mandatory minicamp, with practices open to the media Tuesday through Thursday.

It will be a good chance to see new coach Adam Gase in action, along with some high-profile free agent additions. Here are five things to watch out for in Jets minicamp. 

Jets GM search 

The Jets are getting closer to hiring a new general manager as they look for Mike Maccagnan’s replacement.

They were scheduled to complete their fourth interview with a known candidate on Monday: Bears director of player personnel Champ Kelly. They’ve already interviewed Eagles vice president of player personnel Joe Douglas, Saints director of pro scouting Terry Fontenot, and Seahawks co-director of player personnel Scott Fitterer.
