The Golden State Warriors are down 2-1 in the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors, and there’s no better time for Kevin Durant — y’know, one of the greatest scorers in hoops history — to make his long-awaited return. 

According to Warriors owner Joe Lacob, that return may be right around the corner.

Asked by ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith before Wednesday night’s Game 3 if he believes Durant will return in this series, Lacob said, “I do.”

“Not tonight, but I do. … I’m serious as a heart attack.”
