The TV and radio broadcast for the race is on NBCSN and 1530AM.

8:55 p.m.: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. takes the lead to start Stage 2 after not making any tire changes. Client Bowyer and Ryan Newman rounds out the Top 3.

8:45 p.m.: Kurt Busch becomes the first driver not named Martin Truex Jr. to win a stage at Kentucky Speedway in the Quaker State 400. It’s his team’s first stage win of the 2019 season.

He leads Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Aric Almirola, who rounds out the top five.

As Kyle Busch suggested yesterday, passing is extremely difficult at the front because when drivers close on the leader, it’s basically like running into a huge wall of air.
