Milwaukee Bucks investigating reports of spiked drinks at party outside arena

The Milwaukee Bucks are investigating reports by individuals who believe their drinks were spiked during a party on the Fiserv Forum plaza Wednesday night.

Bucks spokesman Barry Baum confirmed the investigation Saturday morning in a statement, saying, “We take all matters of safety seriously.”

At least six people have reported becoming ill or blacking out after consuming drinks during a Bucks party Wednesday, according to WISN-TV.

One woman, Ali Diaz, told WISN that she drank two Moscow Mules from a tent with an Absolut banner over a two-hour period and started seeing double. And her friend experienced the same thing.

“A couple minutes later she said, ‘Hey, I need to go to the bathroom, I really don’t feel good.’ She goes to the bathroom and that’s the last thing I remember,” she said.

Diaz said she blacked out for a couple of hours before getting home safely and that she was able to piece together what happened by talking to family and friends.
